The commandment is a lamp . . . to keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.
Proverbs 6:23,24
Verse 25 goes on: “Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.” A worldly woman, perfumed, attractively made up, dressed in beautiful clothes, is still just that - a worldly woman, with a worldly heart, bent on worldly ways. BE CAREFUL! The outside is a cover for a wicked heart. Keep close to the Lord and His Word or you will be led astray.
