The Apostle Paul wrote of his different approaches with the gospel toward different types of people (1 Cor. 9:19-23). He even became as weak, that he might gain the weak! The object was not to promote himself as a religious authority, nor to change God’s standards, but by all means to save some. Sometimes a gentle remark or a thought provoking question is more effective than an authoritative statement.
