When He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears . . . was heard.
Hebrews 5:7
This verse is about the Lord. He prayed with great emotion and intensity . . . and He was heard. As a man He utterly cast Himself on God to help Him in His great time of need. What a lesson for us! How often we try to work our own way out of a situation without asking the Lord for help. Let’s be totally dependent on Him for everything.
